WHAT’S THE BIG DEAL?
It’s been a long time coming but I can finally spill the beans about the future of the Skeletal Press brand. Well, the graphic says it all, I guess.
That’s right, Skeletal Press has partnered with Indie comics sensation BAD BUG MEDIA to create several new and exciting projects.
WHO IS BAD BUG?
Bad Bug has been exploding the past few years. Releasing some of the most exciting comic book projects to hit the indie scene recently. They have brought together a group of consistently high-quality creators and all-around great people to create a brand people can rely on for great stories.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR SKELETAL PRESS?
Starting with the release of Rayna: The Bastard Queen #1 on March 7th, future comic book projects by yours truly will be released alongside the other great titles from Bad Bug. That means any time you support a Bad Bug crowdfunding campaign, you’ll be able to also pick up my previous comic works such as Rumble Kings. In turn, when you back a Ryan Cummins crowdfunding project, you’ll also be able to get any of the previous titles from other Bad Bug creators such as Black Jackets, Midnight Highway, or Bear Skin.
Through this partnership, we’ll see several Skeletal Press projects get fast-tracked for production. Rayna will launch and see release this year, Rumble Kings #4 & 5 are FINALLY coming, as well as brand new projects which are in the early stages of production. The biggest criticism about Skeletal Press comics is the long wait between releases. This partnership will help ease that strain.
Nothing is going to change to the substack. This is still your one-stop shop for all Skeletal Press news and exclusives. Although, you may see some new faces from the Bad Bug family dropping in to say hi.

The Skeletal Press Substack is going to get much more active going forward. My current schedule is clearing up so I’ll be putting much more content here for your earballs and eye holes.
