Hello all, how was your week? Oh, me? Mine was pretty good.
So, I had an idea to do a weekly wrapup each Friday to share some of the information I didn’t share throughout the week. I try to keep the daily updates short and sweet, I know people HATE having to read a dozen paragraphs of prose, so I figured this would be a nice little bookend to the week. Of course, I actually have to WRITE the damn things. HA!
FIRSTLY…
It’s been a pretty slow news week this week. I’ve mostly had my head down working on the She Brings A Devil campaign and getting the Rayna: The Bastard Queen #2 campaign page finished up. So I guess we can start with those.
We actually hit $10,500 but had a few backers drop off. This happens with every campaign. It’s to be expected. We did unlock our first stretch goal at $9k, this beautiful pinup by artist Vasco Gioachini. We’re very close to unlocking our second stretch goal at the $11k mark. I’m confident we’ll unlock that over the weekend.
If you haven’t checked it out yet, there’s still time. You can pre-order your copy here: SHE BRINGS A DEVIL #1 Pre-Order
SECONDLY…
Rayna: The Bastard Queen #2 is coming SOON! In fact, we’ll see everyone’s favorite tortured barbarian continue her self-destructive quest for vengeance this fall! Below, you can see a full-colored page from Issue #2 by Stan Yak & DC Alonso. I’ll be announcing the launch date for Rayna: The Bastard Queen #2 very shortly. Until then, you can sign up for the pre-launch notification here: RAYNA: THE BASTARD QUEEN #2 Pre-Order!
THIRDLY…
Monday I posted an article detailing the status of my cyberpunk graphic novel FEVER and the support from you all has been overwhelming. I can’t explain how reassuring it is for you all to be so supportive of me and this project. If you are a FEVER campaign backer, then you’ve already seen a separate update about the future of the project. If you’re new to FEVER, I will have some exciting news for you coming very soon. You can read the article here: Let's Talk FEVER.
LASTLY…
I want to share a few projects that are live right now on Kickstarter that I’m excited about.
Evoluzione Publishing brings you an action-packed story with an epic cast of characters from the greatest fantasy known to literature, King Arthur. Le Fay is an Arthurian legend reimagined into a modern world setting with dangerous new stakes and even deadlier new tables. Morgan Le Fay has all but lost her powers and is awakened from her sleeping curse to serve a powerful witch cabal known as The Three Moons.
Powerless, Morgan set's out on a supernatural investigation to find the killers of the niece of one of the cabal's witches but discovers that the brave new world she once knew was a lie. Once a villain, now a vigilante hero with a goblin sidekick. She must dissolve this "end of days" threat and hopefully live to the end for the chance to restore her power to become the Queen of Fairies she used to be before Merlin himself defeated her.

L.A. Noire meets X-Files. Star Noir is a 6-Part detective story following Homicide Detective Alan Miller and his grey alien partner Ellis Tate as they travel across 1940s Los Angeles to find an elusive shape-shifter killing officers in Central Station.
It’s inspired by the grit and tone of noir books like James Ellroy’s The Big Nowhere, has the snappy dialogue of Humphrey Bogart’s The Big Sleep, and depicts a stylized 1940s Los Angeles as seen in movies like Chinatown and L.A. Confidential.

Belial is a 32-page action adventure hell comedy about the original creator of Hell. Lucifer has taken his domain from him, and after centuries of wasting away in a crummy bar he's had enough! Now, with his impish cohort Linc and bar manager/former general Mammon, he seeks to take his powers back from the Four Horsemen and usurp Lucifer to once more be the ruler of all Hell!
Co-created by Shaun Barbour and Chuck Pineau this is more than just a comedic take on Hell. This is a chance for both creators to bring their sense of fun to comics, to temporarily ignore the shitstorm that is our world, and just laugh and enjoy.

That About Does It.
This week was big for our Kickstarter campaign. Hopefully, next week proves even bigger. I’ll have an update on that as well as what’s coming next.
Until then, talk later.
