It's Friday...You Know What That Means!
Or, the Bi-Weekly (WEEKLY) Update Thingy.
So, the idea for this weekly (mostly) update is to recap the goings-on with me on my insane journey to comic book superstardom BUT you’ll just have to accept some caffeine-fueled rants about my Kickstarter this week.
FIRST…
It was a pretty big week for ya boy as the Rayna: The Bastard Queen Kickstarter campaign crossed $10,000!!! WHAAAAAAT!?
This campaign has been my biggest and we STILL have 2 weeks to go. How big can this go!? Check it out HERE: RAYNA #1 PRE-ORDER!
Because we hit our $10,000 stretch goal, ALL PHYSICAL REWARD BACKERS will receive this Rayna pinup by artist JOK LP. Also, DIGITAL BACKERS will receive a digital version of the pinup.
SECONDLY…
While Rayna is taking up a lot of my time throughout the month of March, that doesn’t mean I haven’t been nose to the grindstone on several other comic projects and web-based content for you all. Here’s a little bit of what I have cookin’ in the kitchen.
The Rayna: The Bastard Queen #2 script has been sent to Stan and he’s tearing into it as we speak. Issue #3 is heading off to my wonderful editor very soon. Our goal is to give ALL Kickstarter backers from the current campaign a sneak peek at issue #2 once this campaign ends. :)
I’m getting close to releasing my (Substack exclusive) Skeletal Press Podcast very soon. I have a couple in the can already but I want to make sure I give myself enough of a head start to release each episode consistently. As soon as the logo graphic is finished I’ll get those up.
The biggest news I have is the announcement of a NEW comic book project that will be EXCLUSIVE to this Substack coming next month! It will be unlike anything else I’ve produced before and you’ll get to see it come to life HERE! More on this later. ;)
LASTLY…
If you’re a BAD BUG follower we’ll have some big news coming down the road here very soon. My first comic project to be produced completely under the banner of Bad Bug is being developed right now and is SO exciting. It feels like a perfect meld of what makes each of us so special separately coming together. You will not want to miss that one.
Speaking of new projects, as soon as the Rayna campaign is over I will be announcing my newest comic project! I’ve teamed up with an amazing artist and we’ll be sharing the entire process of this project’s creation with you here FIRST!
